Shouldn’t have made the poll anonymous. It’s funny seeing all the Phantom avatars lined up under the no/balanced options on these polls. They can’t help themselves.

This is a fair balance change, however I fear Splash Damage won’t make such a drastic change now that there is money involved

Serves them right.
If they buy in real money a game feature that is openly unbalanced just to win, they let them learn fair game the hard way, with their money.

Of course, this theory assumes that DB in not a P2W. As a ftp game, this malediction is allways here.

  1. Its already implemented, They could make it mitigate 50%-75% damage, but from experiance, a Phantom standing still doesn’t have to worry about being exposed to too much damage, theres mixed feelings about it from my part since it also decreases when moving, even at a higher rate when sprinting so if a Phantom is running straight at someone the silhouette isn’t that hard to see and you have to be completely deaf to not notice one running around cloaked.

  2. No, That + Katana reach, he can catch up to and stab the characters that should have it easy running away from him, 120 is a nice middle ground.

  3. It detects, thus marking him, being detected by one of the 3 other Recon characters means Phantom cant cloaked, we just have to hope they release the other two and people who play Vasilli remember they have those heartbeat sensors, so far for me it’s been the latter.

  4. Mixed feelings, I believe he should have machine pistols instead of SMGs which decrease his range, but then again I’ve seen a player as a Phantom kill 5 people without cloaking since no one noticed everyone around them was dying and ignored the obvious Kek firing noise.

5)That is his main drawback.

6)It takes a bit for the refractive armor to activate, it is very obvious when activated.

7)Sprinting + Cloaked, Really loud noises and quick cloak loss. Not Phantom’s fault that some players cant hear/see him, thats like saying Nader shouldn’t have Martyrdom or Pheonix shouldn’t be able to self revive, the characters make it obvious what they do.

8)Thats the main purpose of the RMB attack, it gives you great range, also sprint crouch-jumping covers a lot of distance, learn to do it.

I haven’t voted because I agree with some and disagree with other proposed changes. Each change should have been listed and this should’ve been a poll on what change people think is best, because ALL of them? Too much.

Can’t wait for the Phantom free week so that everybody who says he’s OP without playing can get destroyed while playing him and finally realize that they’re just bad.

Very briefly. I’ve tried this theory of “countering” Phantom with the sensor and it’s not so great. It’s more of a soft counter and a minor annoyance to the phantom player.

I think this is just fine for phantom i myself play phantom a ton and think this would make phantom more assassin like and funner to play and fair for everybody but i was too late to this pole i think
