Let’s get with the times people, everyone hates Phantom, thus he got nerfed to hell and back to hell and back (those asterisks are the opposite word for heaven which is censored for some reason, but moving on). I bring to you irrefutable evidence that right now Melee weapons are lackluster, outdated and seriously have you seen FREEDOM TROOPS ('MURICA F YEAH) use them? Nah son, you didn’t cuz they’s for pansies. Anyway on to my points:

It’s clearly showing that Splash Damage hates melee, heck it doesn’t even matter what merc you’re playing, you’re supposed to not use a knife, it’s a SHOOTER after all

You may say that melee provides a tactical and surprising advantage in close quarters combat. I say nonsense. This last patch is the clear definition of the reason why melee has to go.

The game doesn’t even like it when you use melee and you get punished for it. HARD. You weren’t expecting to knife that guy with his back turned to you and moving slightly to the left or to the right just to adjust his aim did ya? Nah son, you gonna miss that and then you’ll PAY for it. SENSITIVITY CAN SUCK IT.
