Permenant Sprite Over A Player Head

Hey, im working on a mini mod, But what i need, is a ‘sprite’ (semi transparent TGA) like the medic symbol to appear over a persons head permanently.
But, it has to be achieved without editing any code, just the standard pk3’s
Would anyone know how to achieve this?

Not possible without telling the code when, where and how to display it. Programs only do what they are programmed to do :slight_smile:

Else way:

  • make advanced player model - add wanted “sprite” into player model

BTW: make something like ‘team’ icons (like FT icons would be grat), it can greatly reduce team damage (but without changing gamecode it’s impossible).

sometimes coverts get unnoticed and the icon appears late(i see one in the edge of my screen, i aim and kill and then pops the icon and TEAM KILL).
this little mod would be great.

BTW: Just to mention that the game can show fireteam sprites above the heads of players in your fireteam. By default, it’s keypad 0 to toggle.
