I really, really want to play Brink. But when my framerate varies from 20fps to 160fps in game, it becomes extremely difficult to play.
My computer’s specs:
3ghz Quad Core Extreme edition (QX9650)
4gb RAM
Geforce 560 TI
Running Windows 7 64-bit
I have the newest drivers, there are no other weird processes running in the background, and I’ve tried turning off all of the settings (even turned off shadows with the r_shadows 0 command). When I spawn, I usually have a healthy 60-90 FPS, but as soon as I go where any action is, it drops to between 20 and 50. It just seems all over the place, and my PC is GOOD.
Anybody else have these sort of problems? Has anybody resolved them?
