Running on max settings, i7 2600k and 290 @1080p frame rate never drops past 120fps.
Very happy, for a closed beta I expected worst!
great job guys.

I’m running an 8350 with a 280x and some maps I drop down to 60 fps … on top of that i’m running a config that makes everything look like shit and I still can’t get a stable 120fps
Here some footage sadly no FPS counter on screen. OBS when streaming dont capture Steam FPS counter.

On full 16 slot server fps is horrible still even with i5-4690K, GeForce GTX 770
Not for me man… I did notice last night though, once EU started to shut off and USA players coming on. The higher my ping less FPS I was getting.
Playing on old-to-mid rig here :
-i5 2500k 3,7Ghz
-gtx560 SE
On max stuff, getting 45-60+ fps. Even droping at 40 fps, the game looks surprisingly 60fpsish, thanks to the engine optimisation that makes the game run with smoothest feel.
I remember Brink being pain in the ess at release, had several graphic troubles and fps could not take off from 15fps back then. I guess they got it fixed after all.
Also anybody playing on gtx980 by any chance? My futur config, i’d like feedbacks.
200+fps on i5 25k @4.2,8gb ram, gtx 970. everything on low apart from model textures and some other setting
Why do you play on low with that nasa setup (well appart for proc which is not fresh)? I mean it’s not as if you played Quake 3 in cellshading to optimise the action on screen. Your computer clearly have guts.
And, 4Ghz OC! Do you play bf4 in 4k octoscreen?? I guess you OC for other games, not for DB right?

I have my CPU at 4.4ghz because its very easy to do so… I doubt he doing it for this game alone and more for everything else.
Got i5 3570K with 3.4GHz, GTX660 OC and 8GM RAM.
Getting 70-140FPS playing on low.
(I just like to play most games on low, dunno, why. I just don’t like when there’s too much stuff going on and distracting me from the actual happening
)
I got the OC was for overall usage.

Thx for the last explanation. I find it funny somehow. But isn’t it kinda cheaty in a way? An advantage to distinguish players faster etc.
I have been reading posts for along time listening to people complain about their lousy FPS.
Many of those people are playing with a overclocked processor in excess of 4GHZ, and with a decent video card. maybe not a top of the line card but still a decent card.
The question still remains why does their FPS suck?
I have a modest PC I7 4790 @3.6GHz(stock speed), gtx 760 4Gb ddr5,
and 8Gb ddr3 1866Mhz.
I get 120-140 FPS on all maps running with video setting set on high, and post processing switched off.
I noticed that in almost all of the post people give the specs on their rigs, but they always neglect to give the speed of their RAM. Apart from the difference in processor and video card, the one thing that always stands out is I have slightly overclocked RAM.
Maybe a better faster RAM, would help some of the people with crappy FPS.
Another factor to consider is your FOV, the higher your FOV the lower your FPS is going to be.
I play at the default FOV, which I think is 65, or 70.
I didn’t properly know one can OC RAM. How to do it? Are there faster brands?
i have Ballistix 16Gb.
Also i always play v-sync off in everygame (can’t see difference). The setting that burns the most performance is Ambiant Occlusion imo.
You can OC Ram but its not worth it… Its best to buy RAM that is already got an OC profile that you just enable…
Like for example 1600mhz by default will run at 1333mhz
Am I the only one with an increasing lag? First couple of minutes the game is running super smooth and then huge lag spikes appear until next round.
I’m running Dirty Bomb on a Radeon 6770 HD 1GB, AMD Phenom II x6 1090T @3.2GHz and 8GB RAM and I run it on low settings, with Vsync enabled and I get 60FPS, though sometimes it may drop to 50-ish FPS if there is a lot going on.
