Yours maybe the most accurate. However, the others mention ET, which are “Captures the Magic of ET” and “Not had this much fun since Wolf: ET”. Yours was “The new, old school FPS”.
Do not get this wrong, i do not want to bash anyone with this. I am not yelly that i did not come up on the front page with anything i said (previously (mainly because i tend to not be generic and liked with my comments, because i have a very different way of thinking), but i simply know that it is wrong marketing. It is very hard to capture this in words, i just know it is wrong. With these on the frontpage you are awakening wrong hopes, especially since there is two times ET mentioned in them. What if i say that at current stage DB is more like CoD and you are building up towards a more ET like perception with these quotes on the front page.
Again, just a matter of understanding. Just try to be as accurate as possible imo, and if you are not sure how to make the game, at least do not try what you try to do with placing these quotes on front page. Rather form an opinion that this is something new, rather than setting it up to fail by awakening false hopes.
And you might think i might hang myself up now on these quotes. No, i still have the general picture in mind there and SD is just doing the same mistakes again it seems, which is building up to something they do not even know what it will be in the future. Ah it is hard to say, but especially after Brink, SD should be very sensitive about what they do regarding building up hypes, giving information about the game in advance (with the product yet unfinished), ah i could go on and on. There is a lot of stuff potentially going in wrong direction and it seems noone notices it except me. Just same mistakes, nothing learned.
So if i am wrong noone will remember this, but usually i am right with what i say, believe me
Even if i do not have as many repo stars.
