What the subject said, a map I’m compiling lately takes around 6-7 bounces before it finishes compiling, and while I’m tweaking the lighting I’ve been noticing that over half the lighting-stage time is spent at:
Subsampling…collapsing…sorting…allocating…
Any way to disable per-bounce .BSP writing? I’m guessing the above is related to said per-bounce write-out, if it’s not, forgive the question. And if this is in one of the numerous manual scraps littered around, my appologies for not being able to dig it up.
