Okay I just checked it, and you DO get your points/Credits if you leave a game.
I wanted to record it, but Fraps refused and crashed 5 times in loading screens before and after games, but you can try it yourself. So there isn’t even a “penalty” in terms of getting nothing if you leave a game.
