So I just got finished with my placement matches, 7/3 Silver Specialists (top scored/fragged 9/10 games)

and I got penalized? for finishing placements?

how do you know if u get penalised? what happens if you do?

you mean penalized as in you were suspecting a way higher rank? Cause if you were thinking that, it’s pretty much impossible to get above silver 3 if you haven’t had a rank in previous seasons.

No, didn’t leave a single game and/or team kill, not even once.

Not much more to explain, although it was a small penalty, I thought I’d still mention it.

I had just finished my 10th placement match, wanting to play another, it said something along the line of “cannot continue, you cannot play ranked until (roughly 30 minutes)”

There were no steps adding up to it, maybe I was falsely reported for greifing? Or the system thought I left early even though the match was over.

(Also, it seems I can’t make quotes on mobile by clicking “quote” under a comment)

Had that happen to me once. Got “banned” for 10 minutes after finishing a game for no apparent reason. No griefing or leaving involved. Enemy team had a guy that left though so maybe thats related.

i think somehow the game will ban you if you leave during score board showcase

i bypassed it with pressing store, then press barracks, then voila

the ban is gone
