Anyone find this function primarily useful?

I tried to use it but I found it just as beneficial to run out, spray and run back behind a wall. Or better yet spray while sliding over to new cover.

i use it quite a lot it is helpful in some surcomstances as you can peek out quickly, like if ur both on low hp you can hit him quick

I don’t use it much. In theory and if one learned to use it intuitively in the correct situations, it should be more beneficial than just strafing in and out of cover.

It’s great for snipers staking out a choke point- they just lean out for a second when they think someone’s in the kill zone, and the good ones with buffed barnetts will one shot your head before you have a chance to do anything. It’s good on resort and security tower- maps with glass walls that allow you to see through cover.

It would be more useful if you could move left and right while crouching and peaking without humping your feet
