Here is the project that has given me loads of problems!

First off, I know it’s raining, and I thought it added a cool feel to the map.

This is the Radar Scaffolding. The Allies can construct this and get easier access to the radar controls.

Overview of the cliffside.

I’m really close to a beta release. I’ve just got scripting left to do, then I’m waiting on my command map to be done. Props to MadMaximus for that.

you really need to work on the terrain and ocean. The terrain looks very unrealistic, flat and blocky. You can also see the edge of the map. Look at how SD did their beach. They gave it the illusion there is no end to it. Take your time before releasing it. It really would be better coming out with a great looking, good playing map, instead of a bad or ok looking map with good game play.

hm sorry but its yet another Beach map.
and it looks a bit too unrealistic for me…
the boats are too large, texture repeating, roughly buildings etc. sry.
keep workin on it!

I see most textures in game or radiant as looking blocky or sucky the real test is if you play it with a fair amount and it play and it fells right,then that is enough for me!
Ps: aint tried it yet si i will resevere judgement.

I made the terrain blocky to give a more “cliffside” feel to it. The ocean sucks, I know. I’ve been trying to get it to look right, IE expanding the ocean, and adding some distance fogging. I think the landing boats look too big because I have my cg_fov set to 110, which can distort things some.

Thanks for your feedback, I’ll be sure to keep them in my mind while I fix it up a bit.

Have alook @ SD cliffs in Battery thoose look like cliff’s and they arn’t very hard to create. Those just look, well… not very cliff like.

I’ll try to do some brush-manipulation with some multi-sided brushes, and see how that turns out.
