Peacekeeper
Inspired by @retired and his merc idea “guero”, which acted as some form of counterspell against air support and reconnaissance.
Stilnotto Stiletto
Baton*
Baton

Fire delay: 567ms
DPS: 61.8

Heavy attack:

Fire delay: 1000ms
DPS: 75
Abilities:
Risu Drone (Q)
Peacekeeper deploys an RC drone that has the same weaponry as him. The use of this ability also makes Peacekeeper invest his clip into the risk taken by the drone, which if destroyed he won’t get back. The drone can move the same and has the same health as Peacekeeper. However the hitbox size of the drone would always be the same size as a crouched version of the player. The drone can be deployed by targeting any spotted player and pressing the Q key, but has a 1-second delay. (Said delay becomes a disgusting 4 seconds when used against another Peacekeeper.)

Temporal Distortion (Passive)
All explosions (that would have detonated without this ability) and healing that fall within range of the Peacekeeper’s temporal distortion field have their effects delayed (greyed out then gradually inverts color) for 3 seconds or until the ability leaves the field’s area of effect. This temporal distortion field has an integrity value (2 explosives in and it’s done) that when depleted becomes completely inactive until fully (25 seconds per charge) recharged, and surrounds Peacekeeper and his drone. Said temporal distortion field also makes him immune to spotting. This ability even works while he’s downed.

I have made a character with a defensive passive and an offensive ability. I’m proud of myself.

If you are wondering why this guy has melee weapons as secondaries, it’s because that when Phantom kicked his ass, his pistol and assault rifle was stolen by Kira wanting a better weapon than some fucking SMG. Now he’s stuck with crappy melee weapons and an assortment of downgraded rifles. And that’s his only pistol!

(TBH though if melees as secondaries is too weak, I think that a revision could be put in place where he gets his pistol back.)

Scrub.
Some men fight for a higher cause. Honor, justice, freedom. Some call these men warriors. Leaders. Heroes.

From a distant future, where he known the realities behind both sides. He had travelled back in time to ensure that nothing remained of both factions that paid these mercenaries to sacrifice their lives for no reason at all. He disguised himself as a normal mercenary, getting paid by both sides. But he doesn’t work for the highest bidder. He works for the side that has the potential to cause the most permanent damage to both factions.

Some men fight for a higher cause. Others, money. But this man fights for peace. One truly perverted form of peace.
The grenade object he has could easily be transformed into a time-crossing communication device to request drones. They don’t even look like Fragger’s grenades.

I don’t quite understand his passive ability?

Temporal Distortion

What is this, Zoids legacy?

Please… No… Just… no. My brain hurts just trying to think of how to program all of that, for no real benefit to the game as a whole. It just sounds infuriating to deal with. It’s like a hyper-powerful version of phantom’s EMP which makes the character immune to all major abilities even as they continue shooting.

Moving along, I’ve already stated many times that drones are hard to program, hard to balance when they’re up in the sky box, shooting down on people with no skilled inputs by the person who deployed it. What makes Bushwacker’s turret fair is that it doesn’t use it’s legs to walk… or fly.

In retrospect I guess the defensive passive is too strong. Something along the lines of “becomes invisible near a deployable” would be good enough if Phantom didn’t exist. Another idea would be styling a passive that imitates Bastion’s strengths, namely being a generalist that can engage enemies at range, as well as protect himself in close range by going into turret mode.

Also, I should have been more specific on the programming behind this drone like I was with Leash.
