PC: Whats your FPS background?

I think this requires some clarification. It’s not which games have you played!

The idea is to choose which FPS that “sucked you in” and with which you have the best memories, if that makes sense.

Edit- Added option for multiple votes so you can select several if you like.

I don’t know much about console games so ill leave that poll to someone who does.

I think a few people will confuse it for “what fps have you owned” rather than what’s grabbed you and kept hold for many years. Q3/QL been playing since release, W:ET/RtCW/ETQW I played till the general scene died and stuck to just tricking in W:ET. CoD I play for funsies with a work friend.

Q3/UT lan parties then at home. Started ET when it was about a year old. Played TF2 when I received orange box and stopped when L4D came out. I like CoD2 single player now and then.

TF2 has had too many updates and niche culture **** that I can’t really get into anymore.
ET has too many ****ty servers with the worst mods and most of them are all bot populated.
L4D community pisses me off because the game is too untraditional for most people to grasp.
UT2k3 demo 120% speed instagib CTF server I frequented I think was when my fps abilities improved the most.

Q3 for the most part, not often online cuz connexion sucked badly, literraly spent 5 years on my life on KAM2 sof2 and market on sof2 gold.

After that W:ET, ETQW 6 monthes after release and then… BC2 for 2-3 weeks.

Now i’m playing Rtype 3 and worms armageddon! oooopsie not FPSes sry
