As the title says, a few times a day this will happen, No servers, or only a handful will appear on the Steam server list and in-game.
After some google searching it seems a few others have this issue.

I had this today when my ISP screw up again. Massive packet loss… Was also kicked out every few minutes due to “user not authenticated”.
Any chance your modem is a thompson 585, which i already read here somewhere…? Check your line for packet loss.
Its certainly not my modem, brink on PC seems to be very buggy when it comes to the server browser
There’s probably nothing wrong with your modem etc. When Brink first was released, we had 2 dedicated servers. The demand was so high in our community with 500+ members that we had to create 2 more. All four servers were constantly full for about a week. Then, slowly, we reduced the server amount to 2, then 1. Finally today, after waiting patiently and our community losing interest, we removed our last server. In our Steam group dedicated to Brink, you can see the gameplay stats for all members, and Brink isn’t even in the top 3.
Sadly, although I wish the best for Brink and hold hope for it to truly become a PC gaming favourite, it will take a miracle for it to become anything more than a niche game.
Last night I checked to see what level of interest players still had and this was the server list generated:

Yeah well, remove the ping filter, you’ll see a lot more.
True, but I’m not about to start playing a PC multiplayer game with a 100+ ping.
Although there are indeed fewer servers than when it started its still a weird bug. Firstly 200 or so will pop up, then 8-16ish and then none, or in a different order.
I can play any other game fine online, just seems this is giving me issues, and Im not the only one:
Why arent you using the game server browser (ya i know its bad)?
What time zone do you live in?
and at what times are you playing? (morning, evening, night, early morning?)
I think these things can effect how many people are playing.
I had that once where no servers were showing up for me. I tried rebooting brink, steam and pc with no luck but a modem reset fixed it and I haven’t had it since. If you play in north america late into the mornings I find under a 150 ping normal maybe 5 to 6 objective/stopwatch with people at most that are not passworded. But if you play earlier in the evening there are plenty with people in them.
For me under 100 ping I get around this but this was late usually it have some more. The ones with 4 5 players are guaranteed to be 4 humans and 12 bots so i cba with those.

The in-game browser does report higher pings than normal on some servers so I like to raise the ping cap to more than 100.
As for the steam browser, I don’t know why you’re not finding many servers unless it was 5am in the morning, maybe servers are reporting pings badly?
