(PC) Okay, you pointed out the filter options - now make them make sense!

Honestly SD, would it be so hard to add a “don’t show empty servers” button? Can you take a nod from any other FPS from the last ten years and make a filter system that makes sense, filtering out specifically what I want it to instead of having to fiddle around with a little blank box? Come on, it might not be priority one, but it makes no sense that I’d rather find Brink servers with the Steam server interface than the one inside Brink. It’s a multiplayer game, how many rookie multiplayer mistakes can you make?

Agreed, these filters are a step backwards. Also the lack of server information is annoying. I keep joining servers that suggest they’re 12/16 but end up being 6v6 with 4 spectator spots.

Search for standard ruleset servers, perhaps advanced and old school too. What you’re describing sounds like a custom or competitive ruleset.

(tokamak) #4

Yeah but that decreases my chance of not finding orange-goop servers considerably.

My lag sorter doesn’t even order the pings correctly.

Splash Damage FTL. How can they copy soo many things and do nearly each and every thing worse than was done in the predecessor games they are copying from!?

I wonder why is it so hard for devs to get a stupid server browser right nowadays… seriously if you are a bunch of lazy bums just copy valve’s server browser and everyone will be happy!

Note that you can actually use the steam server browser outside of the game but not inside. No, ingame we get that crappy thing that has no real filters.
