(PC) Moar graphic settings please

I think the graphic settings in Brink PC version are pretty deficient unlike most PC games that allow you to tweak to your hearts content. I really need more options to get better and stable framerate with native resolution and to set some effects off, like bloom and DOF.

  • More settings also allow high-end users get more out from the game.

Here is a good example of good set of settings:

Post-processing could also be a quality setting: off/med/high, where high is the current high-quality post-process and med the current forced post-process.

Possible additional Brink settings:

Anti-aliasing - off/2x/4x/8x/(16x?)
Anisotropic filter - off/2x/4x/8x/16x
Bloom - on/off
Shadows - low/med/high
Effects (particles) - low/med/high “like fire, explosions and such
Weather effects - on/off “like dust, papers and such effects in Brink
Post-process - off/med/high
Shaders - low/med/high
Depth of field - on/off
Objects - low/med/high “characters, props

I couldn’t agree more.

What you have now looks like ****ty console port SD.
Give us many graphics options.

Also make AA/AF sliders for 0-8x AA and 0-16x AF.
And actually improve your AA.It looks like ****.Even though if you activate it there are jaggies everywhere.Consoles AGAIN!Cause they only can have 2x AA or something doesnt mean that PC doesn’t need more.

Also AF through driver don’t seems to work. -.-
I can’t stand the container city ground.It flickers so extreme it hurts my eyes!

Added a list of possible settings I think Brink is using. I hope they give us more settings before DLC or at least unlock the locked graphics cvars, like r_skipdepthoffield and r_skippostprocess.

Unlock r_usePortals and add/unlock other LOD options. I friggin’ hate the pop ins.
