sry to say that, i bought COD BO2, i mean its not a bad game at all. But the animations (everybody runs like a monkey), the flow of gameplay is probably not my case it is spongy as hell. I mean its fun to pown everyone in this game. You pwn them with your gun, with your knife, with your toys. lol i just made 20 kills in a row only cause of drones and air strikes rather easy. You wont to do anything for it! I mean its fun, for short term. Its all about who gets the first couple of kills in order to harvest ppl with your inc air strikes and helicopters. I mean its just a bigger version of a claymore mine^^
Skilled COD players consistently score (much) higher than non-skilled ones
It’s way to easy to dismiss this game as simple. It’s not. It’s mechanics are superb, it’s high-grade weaponised addictive entertainment.
sure skilled players will still be scoring higher. how the hell should it be different?
And the game IS simple. You do not need any skill to a player. Sit in a house, aim at a door shoot and move the mouse a little towards the playermodel ( with a mega highsense) and the moment your crosshair is on the model the enemy will drop dead.
Camp some moar, and more players will run into your crosshair and you get airstrikes, helis, WHATTHEHHELL, its ****.

All new CODs are based on COD MW 1. Thats 2007, if I am right. And all ‘new’ CoD titles give no reason to buy them. Its the same old crap with a new single player and a disaster of new MP maps.
All in all its the same **** every year for 50 bucks. Dafuq. Requieres NO skill to get a satisfying gameplay expreience in MP. There is just no reason to paly this game for me. Its flat and after I play it for 1 year, a ‘new’ CoD appears.
For me CoD is the plague of modern FPS.

There was in the early pre-alpha which is more what I was referencing. People were literally calling for RTCW/ET movement although possibly because of the bad knockback a sloppy movement at that time.

You make a lot of good points though. I think most people here that have stuck around are concentrating on how to improve the current movement mechanics to make movement fun and rewarding and giving feedback on all those things you mentioned in your post. I personally am looking forward to trying the new patch but I’ve been working my ass off as we had a March 11 deadline.
