I know 50,000 credits is enough but I think that the real money should be a taken down a little say $6? or so because I got 20 dollars in my steam wallet and it cost around $9 to get a merc so 9 + 9 = 18 so it will already cost me $18 just to get 2 mercs with 20 dollars whats ur guy opinion?
Paying Real Money for Merc
Nitpicky but they’re $9.99 each which means you will have 2 cents left, not $2. They could be cheaper but the game has to make money somehow. For the quality of the game and the fact that you can grind out mercs easily enough I think the price is fair. Cases on the other hand are still too RNG to be worth it.
Mhm^ This is a free game and it’s nice enough of the devs to at least give you an option to grind out credits to get the mercs and non of them are overpowered as well.
I feel they should price higher. You should all be happy I don’t work over at Nexon. I’d be making everything pay only. You wanna see pay to win, let me be in charge of Nexon’s cash shop. I’ll make you say “Bring the price down to $10, and fire this asshole who made this game pay to win” (Nexon, you can hire me when you feel desperate. I will cold shoulder money off people.)
Basing merc cost of what you personally have in your steam wallet? The internet never ceases to amaze.
$10 per merc, pack of three for $25, meaning most people who play for a bit will spend that much; everyone goes home happy.
The credit gain (not the 12c/min but the rewards) is way too high as well, but that’s a slightly different matter.
We just need way more cosmetics and cash shop items to sink both credits and money into, the idiotic case system could be thrown under the bus tomorrow and no one would be upset.

Actually the bundles are 20$ for 3 mercs and 2 elite cases (last I checked). Though I want to see the cases price go down or RNG reduced.

I still got 300 something money in my steam wallet
I have no idea, never looked, just tossed out the most logical sum I could think of; nice to see the $20-tag since it’s more of an enticing offer than I would have made.
So by following your first post’s mathematical logic, mercs should be $90 each? Can I buy that shovel from you when you are finally done?
Or did you just attempt to woo the crowd by sharing that you, after spending an unspecified of the original sum, still have over $300 in your steam wallet to blow on our shared hobby of gaming?
And you quibble over a $9 or $6 price-tag for an avatar in a f2p game? Uhm, keep the shovel, I think it might be tainted.
I have yet to come across a player who thinks the prices are fair in the store but it’s SD’s/Nexon’s loss. $10 for a merc is ridiculous but luckily earning credits is fast so nobody needs to spend any money since there’s nothing else to buy anyways, nobody cares about re-textured “rare” skins.
I think it’s justified. You could spend a long time grinding those credits or you could buy a merc for $10.00 and have it unlocked FOREVER. This is one of their main sources of income. I think it’s a logical move on their part.
I find the prices for mercs quite reasonable but elite cases are just smthn else, I just bought 5 (€20) and I got 1 golden and 4 silver cards, this probably is the most non rewarding system for spending money.
