Paying for a simple experimental map

I need a map that’s a small room. Single light source on top center. At FOV=90, when a player spawn, the sides of screen should line up perfectly with the far edges of the walls (preferrably top and bottom too). So basically you will have a complate view on the wall directly in front of you.

I’ll pay 15 dollars over paypal.

I think a box map is quite easy, but it’s hard to line up the edge with screen. I’m going to try to get one for Quake3 too.

I want this map to calibrate a projector with wide FOV way behind the player and a computer monitor so I can study the effect of peripheral vision on gaming.

uh, I dont think your allowed to profit from game content you create without the proper liscenses and all that stuff we all love. Doing so may lead to one or more of the following:

  • Activision lawyers send you a friendly letter.
  • John Carmack flies his rocket into your house.
  • Nothing, really.

Chill I’m merely trying to buy some time from people with more knowledge than me. Although Ifurita being a really classy guy wouldn’t take anything. I’ll remember to get back here and post an update after I’m done with my project - of course unless it doesn’t go very well :). Thanks all.

good luck with your experiment tcf, it sounds interesting. let us know how it goes with relation to gaming (or any other reason why people peer intently into monitors for hours on end). Do let us know if we’ll all doomed to tunnel vision as we get older :suspicious:
