That huge sign said 'BRINK LEADERBOARDS"? hmmm, and yeah, i know there a forum about the red glow but wow were those people ever red/orange to a crazy extent what happened to “the bad guys are the ones without out names” this game is so idiot proof it scared me.

Seems they have removed the pips for health for a single long bar.

Health pips are there… although its a bit hard to see in the vid

Also, you don’t always have the health pips. You always have the base bar but you gain the pips from controlling the terminal(s), medic buffs, and perks. I think those are the three ways I saw, at least.

Vid is quite noisy, would suggest to turn down/off volume.
Looks like a light medic. No idea if this was posted anywhere earlier though.

Looking at the video Humate posted, I’ll disagree with that. And I think this feature is going to get exploited the most by snipers.

There is base bar, then there are pips. When you take damage your base bar regens.
Or if you take really little damage, so that you lose half a pip, that pip might regen, but I’m not sure about this.

The health bar comes back after some downtime, as does the pip from the control point. I am not sure if the bonus one from the medic health buff did or not, I didn’t notice that specifically with so much going on in the UI. I assume the ones from perks would come back and regen as well since they are part of your character for that match and not temporary but I can’t confirm that 100% either…

I mentioned that on IRC, if recording was allowed, people would be bringing their HD cams instead of sneakily recording footage on their mobile phones.

Right, this has been explained by SD before, seeing the rather long bar I assumed they had revamped the system.

Eugh I REALLY want to see PC footage. The gameplay looks so stuttered when played on console cause of the controls.
