who said that?
Pax east vids
Bethesda forum fail (they spoiled the trailer). Anyway, dont take in mind, just wait until monday i think.
if that’s true, then it doesnt make any sense; why wait 'till next week instead of PAX where everyone is paying attention for new games?

Worst medic ever lol
I like how the crosshair changes wile you reload, good for those who plan on playing with gun skins removed.
can anybody get a close up on the ps3 controlls in the most recent vid? i really hope smart is r2 because i hate aiming with r2 and firing with l2 like in borderlands.
It doesn’t matter - custom controls are confirmed. You can make it whatever you want.
Hurray! and do you think the lag spike is that noticablo on ps3? i read your thread on the pax east impressions. even though you didnt go how bad did it sound from your freind?
Netcode is one of the things that gets optimized thru beta. Thats why you see the choppiness and performance issues in many FPS releases. From our folks that played it was noticeable but quite frankly we have seen AAA titles with much worse on actual release so I am not too worried with a month left of optimization and balance tweaking. The game is already pretty polished.

Seems from the video that the blue/red outlines appear only when players are in close proximity to you.
Wow, I can see why developers do not want this amateur videos getting out. People are bad. Brink takes more than 10 minutes to learn, from the looks of things, haha.
Why does the outline matter tho?
The player needs to identify with enemies quickly. Most games have a simple blue and red teams. There is a reason for that.
Brink however has crazy customization and there can’t be regular colours. But the players still needs to quickly react if there is an enemy.

And it takes away from immersion
Maybe a toggle option?
Toggle on and off, some people maybe don’t have a hard time knowing who to shoot and not

There already has been a lot of discussion on why adding those outlines is not a good idea.

I doubt a toggle option would serve any purpose as the player having it toggled on would have an advantage over somebody who doesn’t.
