First a picture of the problem:

There’s an unwanted shadow on the brush (not on the patch) to the left inside the red marking. It’s structural and properly textured. Unseen faces are caulked. Brush is split in to sections the same height as the sections used for the bevel-patch on the right (and it’s structural). All unseen faces behind the patch are caulked.
No overlapping surfaces are here (Thank God!)
I tried everything (afaik) but still the same problem.
I’m using Q3Map2 2.3.37 with these option for compiling:
"F:\_Map Creation\Quake III\Radiant\q3map2.exe" -meta -fs_basepath "F:\_Map Creation\Quake III" "F:\_Map Creation\Quake III\baseq3\maps\moses_ctf1b03.map"
"F:\_Map Creation\Quake III\Radiant\q3map2.exe" -vis -fs_basepath "F:\_Map Creation\Quake III" "F:\_Map Creation\Quake III\baseq3\maps\moses_ctf1b03.bsp"
"F:\_Map Creation\Quake III\Radiant\q3map2.exe" -light -fast -patchshadows -filter -smooth -super 2 -fs_basepath "F:\_Map Creation\Quake III" "F:\_Map Creation\Quake III\baseq3\maps\moses_ctf1b03.bsp"
Maybe it’s just the options for q3map2 which aren’t well chosen but I don’t know for sure. It just popped up since I removed the massive ceiling is this area and used a skybox for the lighting…
As this might look like sh!t imhop, I was wonderering if I can do something about it? As I’m out of ideas I hope you guys can help me out… :???:
I just recompiled again but now only with -fast -extrawide -patchshadows, no other options for the lighting… It still happens… I just give it another try with -fast disabled. I don’t know if this is gonna work but I’ll try anyways… I was thinking if the -patchshadows is causing this problem… I remeber something about this earlier in this forum but it woildn’t look good with patches NOT casting any shadows… Now testing with -extrawide -patchshadows.
Thanks in advance
