@Kirays But there is no info about todays patch. Will they update it later or does this mean, that this was only stuff, that doesnt have any effect on players directly so they dont make it public?

Maybe! I’m not sure.
As you wrote, it doesn’t have any direct effect on the players so you may not find anything about it.
Or they could give the info later on.

The event did just end. That means all the UI and shit for the event needs to be taken out. Just because an update is sizable doesn’t mean it’s got a lot of content.

Do people still not know how DB patching works? haha

I feel like I have explained this several dozen times when people bring that up.

DB uses containers for their patching. Whenever something in a container is changed the entire container is replaced in the patch. It isn’t 900mb of new data. You are basically redownloading a 900mb section of the game rather than just applying what has changed. It’s a bit cleaner then other patching methods but it kills for people with low bandwidth.

Fun fact, it was actually a 3.70 MB hotfix (according to SteamDB)
