So basically…

-No AURA Health Station nerfs.
-No Kek nerfs
-No Blishlock
-No SKYHAMMER SKILL SPAM NERFS ON EV MISSIONs (reduction in hard damage?)
-Removed all those bloody ammo boxes

As a proxy, i have to suicide several times because i run out ammo… The biggest reason is that i cannot find kira or skyhammers anymore, all i see are vassilis rhinos n bushies…

Competitive, 5v5 team balance. Bushwacker was more or less the only engineer used.

The packs are soo small that it’s hard to direct hit them!

Anyone else upset about the one second to revive that made it impossible to revive mid combat? Now revivng is pretty much useless, unless you want to win some time at a revive that doesn’t really matter anyway…

The game used to be so thrilling with the constant risk of a non-gibbed person being revived. Now there is no problem anymore. It’s a breeze to get a second kill again…

People had been complaining about the revive system for months. They nerf revives and they get new complaints. SD just can’t win with this crowd. :smiley:

you still have a good sec after being able to move when you are invulnerable. Reviving in combat is just as viable as before, but you won’t see so much of the ridiculous medic trains. Imo this is the best change in the entire patch, and made the game much more enjoyable.

Played some sparks, thoughts:

  • zap-reviving people is awesome and allows helping the entire team as a single medic.
  • small health packs are very poor and not really useful in-combat; as intended, you’re better of using SMG or go for rail-HS and revive down teammates
  • sparks is probably the weakest merc in the game combat wise - which is good considering she has the best revive in the game
  • spamming machine pistol up close, and revive-support and snipe-support for long range
  • did not notice instagib-headshot someone mentioned here, so far all my kills were without instagib
  • no idea what ‘potent packs’ is doing

@Szakalot its cause potent packs never works on self, on allies it’ll give 30
Also the instagib only occurs if enemy merc is below a certain hp and you headshot em

If you look close u see, i got headshotted, and have no head ;p
I was pretty low from firefight, so i’d say roughly 10%-20% of my hp was left
and I have to disagree on you saying the packs are poor, the packs heal insta which means u can run away and heal without dying, medic wise, they’re ok depending on situation, they’re situational compared to sawbonez’ health packs, those get their healing cancelled if shot, these insta heal, depends where you want to heal someone

I like this pretty well. Don’t especially like the medic nerfs, but they were needed. The only thing I really would want now would be some way to trade down or sell loadouts.

Sparks is the weakest combat merc in the game. Super squishy like Aura, but without the insta-heal healing station that Aura relies on to survive any engagement.

@“Admiral Teddy” As far as light health packs: I just find throwing them too slow to maintain good health among teammates, it takes too long to keep them topped mid-fights, in comparison to joining the fight and full-rezzing anyone who goes down. Maybe if they buffed the medpack throw rate… (makes sense - its smaller: should be easier to toss’em arround!)

min level 10 servers are amazing, i think we will need min 20 or 30 level servers on next update, and you guys should give us more information about ranking system, good job.

maybe lvl 20; don’t really think we need more than that. Lvl20 is plenty of hours for individual skill to come out, and lvl20+ players are not comparable anymore on that alone

1 second movement delay animation when revive someone needs to be altered or there needs to be some form of icon/indicator that the person you revived actually got revived. In it’s current state I can’t tell if I revived someone or not until 1 second and then the animation starts.

If you get the experience pop-up then they are revived.

Overall fantastic patch, only thing I’m disappointed about is no fix for servers reporting the wrong amount of players. Apart from that, great!

Why do so many people keep saying this? It used to be good in the hands of a good player but it has been the worst SMG in the game in pretty much all categories for a couple patches now. It has the longest TTK out of all the SMG’s at all ranges, highest spread increase out of all the SMG’s, lowest rate of fire out of all the SMG’s, terrible ADS sights, and it even has a relatively long reload. Sure you can still do well with it, but there’s a reason why every sawbonez in competitive uses the crotzni now.
