PassagePortalFlow compile problem

hey, im using radiant 1.4.0 and q3map2 2.5.14, have 512 mb of pc3200 ram, and the compile lines:

but the compile is taking absolutely forever, getting really hung up on the PassagePortalFlow stage under the light section. vis is going just fine, but light is killing me, itll hang on one number for hours. any idea what may be wrong?

Passage Portal Flow is in the vis stage. Filter detail brushes from your view in Radiant, and make all little brushes detail.

I thought about suggesting that but I also thought most mappers, certainly a mod mapper, would know about detaiing…

Next time I’ll suggest anyway :slight_smile:

i do know about detailing :wink: i did a few more parts and it suddenly went from hours to a few minutes… odd

You probably fixed whatever was b0rked when you added the few more parts :slight_smile:

BTW, don’t use -filter in your -light phase.
