Party in Casual?

(Mellou) #1

Hey guys, I just came back playing Dirty Bomb (started playing-ish), and it’s all very enjoyable but… I really can’t play by myself, I get bored too quick.
So, I guess people already asked that, but, will there be an option to join casual games in a party with friends?

Ahem… Casual Matchmaking supports your needs, I’m sure of it

You can actually already do this!

The UI is a little unclear at the moment, but when you are in the main menu, in the bottom left of your screen you will see your party. You can invite people to your party through steam, either by clicking your friends list in game and inviting them (next to your portrait) or by pressing shift+tab and inviting them through the traditional Steam interface.

Once everyone is in your party, just queue for Casual Match-Making like you normally would.

I am trying it right now, but when I press “Casual” it asks me if I want to leave the group, I don’t understand :\

Casual matchmaking only works in the EU and NA regions.
If you have a friend in one of those regions, let them be the party leader and it will work fine

On most of the games I am “EU” :frowning:
Anyway, so, there is no way of changing that in-game, which means I can’t play in a party?

I wish you could change the amount of players you want in matchmaking for casual. Anyone else agree?

i wish casual matchmaking never arrives in asia…

why. OW is boring, DB feels somehow different, faster and more like a casual game, but without grouping up with friends it really kills the fun for some of us…

People want you to be restricted to only being able to play ranked with friends.

Why? who are those people who wants me to play only ranked with friends?
Let’s say that it is ok, but, they need to be level 7 and it is very-not-easy to level up, specially doing it solo, they can’t play with friends and it gets boring…
