parameters to the startup for ET

Hi all, having a little problem with the parameter im adding to the target string…im using “+set g_gametype 2 +set sv_pure 0”…and it says it cant find the map ? Iv’e imported my little test map to see if its there and it exists !! (oh ya, not using the quotations in the parameter) my saved test map is in my ET main/maps folder.

Did you COMPILE the map into a bsp? :smiley:

yes i already asked that in the pm… ^^ (but in brackets () )

you mean the target string in a Windows shortcut? Is the Start in field correct too?

Did i COMPILE the map into a bsp?..yes i did and there were no leaks i clicked the BSP menu item and pick the longest compile option, the one that starts Simulate old style.And When the compiles finish the last lines said… Disconnecting and Connection closed.

TomTom7777…it’s the target in the ENEMY TERRITORY shortcut, i’m only running 1 version of ET so i dont have to move file around to play.
