P2W

Yeah I’m done, 2 days playing and realized its p2w. All I get is level 30s with cobalt’s which do matter, stop saying bronze is best not only that but I’m with lead cards, nothing good at all I don’t have any good mercs. I get bottom score always. tried the limited options it gives me but I cant. Everyone’s says its not p2w, but it is.

Awwww do I see an angry joe fanboy?

Even a 10 year old can figure out this isn’t p2w…

(neverplayseriou) #3

Btw in what way does having a cobalt matter against having a bronze? I consider myself quite decent at the game and I do not own a single cobalt…

And you can buy a 30k merc after the first few matches, if you grind after that it takes like 3-5 days of grinding for a new merc.

It’s possible to trade up lead cards or you just get a pair of alienware cards.

It’s not P2W. Everything ingame can be acquired by playing the game.

Public matchmaking is…kinda messed up right now. Fixes are coming soon. Cobalts are no better than bronzes, as they’re just a shiny skin, and the augments on them are exactly the same as every rarity below them.

Cases drop about every 3 to 4 games. Open them and get cards that you can trade up to get better cards for the mercs you own.

Are you kidding? Skyhammer and Aura are among the best mercs in the game. The current free rotation mercs are pretty good too, as Bushwhacker is considered one of the best engineers and Nader is a great assault merc. If you want to buy a merc, then just get the daily bonuses and complete the missions everyday. You’d be surprised at how fast the credits pile up.

Practice makes perfects. DB is heavily based on good aim, and a headshot can make or break it in a duel.

Not sure what you mean here.

TL;DR: Be patient. Matchmaking fixes are coming, credits are quite easy to get, the stock mercs are very good, work on your aim, trade up useless iron cards, and the game isn’t P2W.

derpy penguin ignore my incompetent raging, thanks for helping. I got a burst fire weapon by upgrading my cards skyhammer I love the merc and I dominate now, it was just that I was against 30s with cobalts

Don’t worry. It happens to the best of us.

Cobalt does not make a difference, Bronze is the highest tier in terms of Loadout effectiveness, any tier beyond that is purely cosmetic change. It also does not indicate playtime as well since players are able to purchase them, since you went against level 30’s it’s obvious they would be a challenging foe regardless of what they used on their merc, but even then it’s just gameplay knowledge and levels themselves have no effect on the game other than how it makes people view you.

Nothing you buy in the store gives a player an advantage nor is it giving you items that are EXCLUSIVE to the store, that is what Pay to Win is, in this game every single thing CAN be earned through playtime(Random case drops) and credits, paying real money is simply bypassing the initial grind of the game which while may seem like an advantage to you, really is not. There is nothing preventing a level 1 with stock cards to beat a level 30 with Cobalt except for their experience with the game and how to play it… if you do not have Bronze cards I suspect you are level 5 or below in which case find a Max Level 5 server to avoid any such players of high level.

Frustration is understandable when you face superior enemies again and again, but disregarding facts and finding something to blame like “P2W”(Which does not exist here) is no excuse. I had a hard time learning the game too, once I got to 50k credits I bought my first merc and things got a hell of a lot better, also don’t forget to take advantage of free rotation mercs, right now Nader, Bushwhacker, and Vassili are up so absolutely try them and see if they suit you.

You’re a hero. You just said what every one on DB should know from beggining, some of my friends have quit with the thinking that it is p2w, but it is not, you can also buy some bronze cards on the store, and there it is, no grind at all.

And if you’re just bored, you can farm better cards trading them up, just that easy.

Once again, you’re a hero @JesseKomm .
