OW Rough day.....

Don’t know about you guys but… them matches today them matches… Rough day. Sigh ugh there is only so much one can handle on their back.

LMAO that statement aside I’m not to serious about it, but I actually wanted to talk a bit about incentive.

As it is right now there is no incentive to keep playing in the same server in Dirty Bomb, which is a problem because if my sources are correct matchmaking depends on people to play at least ten matches together before it can make a accurate judgement on how to decide teams.

Now I’m not asking Splash Damage to lower the amount of matches use to determine fair placement, math just doesn’t work like that. But it would be interesting if they added some kind of incentive to keep players playing in the same server so that the matchmaking actually has a chance to kick in.

Of course this all depends on if that is how matchmaking works I don’t know the algorithms after all.

Other suggestions would be the simple solution of auto-balance.

Or even something that I have seen in a different game where if one team has more players then the other team. The team with more players is given a prompt asking people to switch teams to even things out, if they accept the prompt they get a bonus on the credit they earn at the end of a match regardless of the results.

On top of that, they should allow people to open cases in lobbies, instantly, without the rolling animation.

multple opening option too please, such a waste of time to open each one and click the skip button

A carrot and stick approach like this is IMO best - offer bonuses first and autobalance only if no one willingly switches.

It would be nice to know if case opening is a reason for people leaving lobbies. I hope that SD gathers data about this and responds if it’s actually an issue. My gut says it is.

Oh that is a good point, maybe people do leave just to open cases.

Expert cases should have a chance to drop, alongside Equipment cases, and be increased after set periods of time you spend playing on a server.

I’d be happy is we started small, with a 10% credit bonus if you win a match. “Sweet, I’m with/against those really good guys again for the next round, challenge accepted!”.
