Overwolf game security violation since latest update

I’ve been using Overwolf as an in-game overlay for Teamspeak and to record footage for a while now. It even comes bundled with Teamspeak itself so it’s not some weird niche program.
Never had a problem until the Containment War Update but now it reproducably kicks me for a game security violation as soon as I enter a server while Overwolf is running in the background:

If I quit Overwolf and restart the game I can play without any problem. The fact that it was usable before makes me think this is a bug so I’m hoping this can be fixed. Or is using overlay software of any kind not allowed?

Hello, I would contact customer support they will have better answers for you. But as far as I know the overlay isn’t “not allowed” but NGS is still working out the kinks.

I saw this post and went ahead to try and see if I can replicate it on our computers here and I found that I couldn’t. I’d love to work with you to see what’s causing it on your end so we can solve it (if it’s something from us causing the kick).

Can I ask you to send an email to Support@Overwolf.com with this description here so we can get to the bottom of this?
