Almost every game gets too hyped up. It just looks like Overwatch will be better due to gameplay footage.

I don’t understand your allegiances with a single game. Why not both? You can like one thing whilst liking another. I’ll always remain cool with DB but Overwatch looks fancy.

Have you played the game Adam? I have and the gameplay is fluid and amazing. If you haven’t played it your input on whether or not it’ll do well means nothing. Claiming to know how you’ll like it based on watching someone else play it is stupid.

I still think comparing DB and Overwatch is like comparing Dota and Heroes Of The Storm, or Call of Duty and Battlefield - for some examples.

Sure, they have similarities, but I personally think DB has more than enough to hold itself up against Overwatch. Overwatch is definitely catered towards the more casual audience from what I’ve seen, and judging by a lot of mechanics that have already been shown, I would be surprised if the game is able to hold up any sort of competitive scene.

I’ll withhold proper judgement though until I actually play it, because that’s only fair, but I really don’t think Overwatch is going to be “the death” of Dirty Bomb or anything remotely close. :slight_smile:

I never said I don’t or won’t like Overwatch, I have no doubt that the game has merits. I’m just not interested in it so I probably won’t bother trying it. But mostly the post was a joke, since my staying or leaving has little impact on the survival of DB.

The game looks good because you have only played it in a closed beta, But in an open state, I feel there will be slot of issues.

I saw a bunch of tf2 players (top levels and youtubers) try out this game in February because this was the hyped up TF2-Slayer back then. Apparently one of them got in contact with Blizzard and just invited a whole group to play against the devs.

While of course everyone is aware there are other games than Dirty Bomb out there (sorry for the spoiler to those of you who didn’t know :smiley: ) linking to them and encouraging people to play just isn’t cool on these forums. They can advertise in their own way :slight_smile:
