Overreactions to patches.

So, I’ve been seeing a lot of people bashing the recent patches and who SD listened to and so on and on. Just remember:

A ) The calmer you are, the more likely I, and others, will listen to you.

B ) It’s a beta, patches happen, then more, if you don’t like something, state why you don’t like it and what you suggest be done about it.

C ) If people disagree with you, try to see things from their point of view and realize that they have a right to express their opinion.

There. If you follow the above suggestions these forums could be more courteous and (hopefully) more productive.

Well to be fair…opinions and beliefs are different things. Belief is something that you don’t really have to back up with arguments, it’s a belief, it’s yours to hold and nobody else’s. But an opinion means you have the right to say something, but it’s under the scrutiny of criticism, and if you back it up with logic and arguments then people are more inclined to listen to it.

Just wanna get that across, because I see a lot of people saying what they want but not really willing to get into a real discussion about it.

Agreeing with you, but you made one mistake with this. This is Nexon’s, the publishers, forum. And they showed us, that they react faster, the louder you are, and even building a small crying army around the point you want “solved”, seems to speed things up. Probably they get to quick and seem to lack some consideration and/or time into the working-progress then, but hey…
So I guess, if that’s that what Nexon wanted to teach the people about their community-communication-style, the message got received.
