Overly-complex maps

Things sort of like this have already been said but anyways. For me, the feeling of not being able to tell where the enemy will shoot you, comes from there being so many little places to shoot from. Windows (so many windows!), little holes between objects, all kinds of clutter like the damn desks in those indoor side routes in LB. I don’t think the maps are complex in their overlay, actually they are really good, but there are so many sight-lines you can’t expect and the different routes connect so much because the routes are so full of “holes”. I liked a lot what they did to the chapel entrance and the area between chapel and lift in Whitechapel. Filling odd holes in fences and making things into more solid shapes so that people could more easily tell where fire should be expected. I don’t think filling more of these “holes” dumbs the game down, it just makes it so that people can’t do potshots on unexpecting enemies, and have to confront them more often. And yes, LB has this problem the most.

Well said the OP. The maps are over complicated and cramped which just ruins the gameplay for me.
