If you receive this error it’s likely Nexon America doesn’t support your region. Here is more information regarding this and a list of areas we DO support: http://support.nexon.net/link/portal/19000/19000/Article/2480/Dirty-Bomb-Region-Limitations

I think Central America will be handled through South America

Central America is taken as part of North America. It has never been considered part of South America. Also, when I try to launch combat arms through the nexon launcher, it gives me the same error, but I can play combat arms from the website or direct launch completely fine. It must be a problem with the nexon launcher.
Sorry but we don’t support your region. Here are the list of regions that are supported through Nexon America: http://support.nexon.net/link/portal/19000/19000/Article/2480/Dirty-Bomb-Region-Limitations
I live in Costa Rica (central america) and I’ve been playing combat arms and other north american games since like 5 years ago. However, when I try to launch dirty bomb, it gives me a region problem saying I am outside the area of service. Is this an error that will be fixed or is this game going to restrict central american players? This is via the nexon launcher.
@Ticokiller15
there are separate regions handled by different publishers, I believe this company (http://dirtybomb.axeso5.com/)is publishing in South and Central America, if not you’ll have to play through a proxy
This is why nexon is loosing so many players. Their own employees don’t even know what they are talking about. Combat Arms is also restricted to “NORTH AMERICA” only, and me, from COSTA RICA, can play it fine, but through the nexon launcher it doesn’t works. IT MUST BE A PROBLEM WITH THE NEXON LAUNCHER, because it is allowing me to play it via other methods of launching. Every game for “NORTH AMERICA” can be played fine from central america, from ANY company INCLUDING nexon, such as combat arms for example, which I have been playing since 2008. Please actually research and ask other people that control the nexon launcher so that they can fix it.

I’m sorry but you don’t understand. Trust me, if we supported Costa Rica it would say so here: http://support.nexon.net/link/portal/19000/19000/Article/2480/Dirty-Bomb-Region-Limitations
That is the official list of regions we support. Combat Arms is a different game and I spoke with some of their team who mentioned that people outside the area of service use a proxy.

I play combat arms and all other nexon games with no problem, and I am NOT using a proxy. I think you are the one not understanding. Let me explain my point once again. I can play combat arms perfectly without the use of a proxy if I launch it via the website or direct shortcut. However, when I launch combat arms via the nexon launcher, it gives me this same error regarding my region and the service. This is the exact same thing happening with dirty bomb. Logically, we would think that it must be a problem with the nexon launcher, for the fact that I can access these games via other methods WITHOUT the use of a proxy. Like seriously, please read this carefully. Thank you for speaking to their team and helping me, but talk to them again and tell them that I can access other NEXON NORTH AMERICA games, without the use of a proxy from Costa Rica. If you don’t trust me I can perfectly make a video showing you. What is the point of my lying here? I am just trying to access the closed beta of dirty bomb because I got a key…
Apologies- not trying to argue. Although Dirty Bomb and Combat Arms are different products it IS an inconsistency and from a legal standpoint while CA does work, as a corporation we don’t provide official support.
@Nail thanks for the heads up- all of the support sites are down currently
@MissMurder out of context - but more about servers and specific times… it is 2AM EST; and any server I connect to (all empty was hoping to occupy and stand by) just brings me back to the main menu; while earlier entering an empty prompted a full match within one map change. o.O
AND AMERICA LATINAAA???
AND DIRTY BOMB CLOSED BETA FOR AXESO5 ACTIVE¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¿
