What do you think about the yellow outline ,that threspass walls, on the objectives?
personally i think you should be able to turn it off, making an icon of it.
Outlined Objectives
I’m fine with the outlines, but I’d actually like it if its thickness was divided by about three or so.
I think it’s really good, but on some it’s too obtrusive. For instance the first objective in Container city, you can’t properly look through the holes in the wall from a distance because of the huge white outline it has.
It’'d be better if the lines became much smaller when directly looking at the object.
Depends on the objective, small objectives can be outlined but really, that Container city gate outline needs to go. The white surface in the rusty surroundings is obvious enough as it is. Also you can only place it on one spot on the gate, so pointing out all the rest simply isn’t required.
really… i just need an icon to find an objective… that outline only gets in the way
We should be able to disable all outline (on objective, character, command post, etc.), it’s useless and it reduce the visibility.
I know everyone’s against ‘hardcore’ mode, but something more like a ‘veterans’ mode would be nice. No hand-holding basically, no outlines, no auras, no screen full of text like a novel that’s practically transcribing the game as you play it.
if customization is their word of choice… we should be able to customize the HUD
The only time this really bugs me is the hack objective on Terminal, sometimes the icon almost completely obscures players inside the little glass room. I wouldn’t mind the option to completely disable outlines/icons for objectives, except for perhaps the carry objectives (datakey etc.)
