[OUTDATED] Phoenix recap

(Sprix) #21

When did Shoe said that Phoenix has 420 speed?

(SteelMailbox) #22

He didn’t, but based on the fact that speed is scaled by health Vassili and Phoenix both have 100 health so 420 is most likely.

That’s a nice assumption however Phoenix had 100hp/430speed during the Last CBT (January) and heath-to-speed scaling is a very inconsistent metric to analyze in order to predict future merc stats. Ex: Fletcher has 110hp/420spd while bushwack/sawbnz/phntom have 110/410. Nader has 120/110 while the other 120hp mercs have 100speed.

Hopefully he kept his 430spd, after all the has only 10 more health than Proxy and she has 450speed. With that low health and only 420spd his CQC viability will be hampered.

You are indeed correct my mistake, I should have looked at how much the bars were filled during the merc role call and compare it to vassili.
Vassili has 3.5 bars and phoenix has 4 bars meaning he is slight faster than Vassili.

(MarsRover) #25

What is the unit of speed? Is there even one? What does 430/420 mean exactly? Or is it just for comparison, so a 400 speed merc is 33% faster than 300 speed merc?

(SteelMailbox) #26

I think it is HU per minute or something, honestly I don’t know it is for me just a comparison thing.

(Gi.Am) #27

AFAIK All range numbers are based on UE Units. Movementspeed is unit/s.
Likewise the min max range numbers for weapons in the wiki.

As a good comparsion to get a rough feeling for the units, a Fragger grenade/Martyrdom has a radius of 240 units.

Was it just me or did the Self-Revive have a 20m cooldown in his roll-call trailer ?

@MissMurder I hope it’s a bug, it’s going to be almost useless in such a fast-paced game

(RyePanda) #29

It has a 1 minute cooldown.

Most games don’t last for 20min
