Is there a Chance to somehow implement the original Sound indicating that the Tank barriers are constructed? Can’t find them and somehow ET is Not ET without its original Sound.

Thanks. I found all Sound files I Need but interestingly, when I Play my map only the non-map specific ones work. for example I hear the sounds for ‘construct the commandpost’ or ‘commandpost constructed’ but the sounds for e.g. ‘construct the tank barrier’ or ‘tank barrier constructed’ don’t work. As I said, I’m running the original goldrush script (because I’m not smart enough to understand the script and don’t want to mess around with it). I guess my script is not finding the right path to the wav files which are located in :etmain_sounds_vo_goldrush_axis
Also I have a door that opens via a button. Here I want to run a Sound when the button is pushed. I found the wav file for the button under Sound_movers_Switches_butn2.wav but I don’t really know how to make it work that the Sound appears only after the button is switched. As the button is Independent of my script I guess I Need a Trigger that upon activation by the button Plays the Sound.
Would be very kind if someone could assist me here.

look at adlernest, when the great doors opening it sounds -“BZZZZZZZZ” and -“KLONGG”
look at battery also, but i think the door will be easier to find in adlernest…
you need to place speakers in the map before you can trigger them to play
//the doors need a origin becouse its not going to sound bzzzzzt and klong everywere
i dont know so mouch about speakers, but you can edit them in et (of what ive heard)

You have to include all the custom sounds of your map in the sound/scripts/mapname.sounds file, the map will only read the file named after itself, not goldrush.sounds for instance; Just copy/paste the ones you don’t need to change from one file to another

Life is a tough game, but the graphic is awesome 
I advise gamers to go to country side once in a while, the controls are awkward and the storyline is iffy at times, but the graphics are freakin unreal
