I’ve been finding more and more lately that people will just continuously spam merc voice sounds. I guess people find it funny to cough like… 20 times before the match starts?
Now, I know I could just mute these people, however this will also mute their mic, which when the round starts they might actually be using properly. Also, its often multiple people doing it, so it means I’d have to mute a whole bunch of people to remedy the issue, and each map the mute settings reset towards players anyway.
Would be nice if there were some audio settings to allow/disallow certain voice categories.
Calls for help (Medic!) could remain on, while muting silly things like (Cough) that really contributes nothing anyway.
The option to mute enemy team merc taunts would also be nice, as often they spam them too.
Just so it doesn’t sound like I’m just whining about nothing, here are a few screen shots from earlier which ultimately prompted me to make this post.

The last one shows a failed vote kick attempt initiated by someone else who was annoyed with the spamming as well.
It isn’t surprising that the vote kick failed, as there were multiple people on my team doing the same thing so they weren’t about to kick each other for doing it.
