Just want to get a feeling of where people stand on this current subject.
You don’t have to reply and I disabled showing who voted what, so people can vote freely without any type of stigma etc bla bla bla.
Thank you.

I like the accuracy right now, as I can hit (for the most part) what I aim at. But the ROF is definitely a bit too much fsho.
Hate to sound like I’m living in the past, but the best thing about ET was how the MP40/Thompson were effectively interchangeable… but I know that doesn’t fly anymore “these days.”
Accuracy isn’t the issue for me, ROF is. I wish we could have more “thump” to the weapons. Like ET:QW, really.
The hip-fire spread is dead on to my taste, but the ROF makes a firefight first-to-shoot-wins-ish.
We need to be able to return fire and fight with more “skill”. Ish…
I’m fine with the accuracy as it is. Movement and RoF might need some adjustment to make for longer fights.
I’m going to be “that guy” and say I don’t think its the RoF (or at least I don’t think it is obviously the RoF yet.)
The current state of affairs is still better than BF3 or TF2 etc. But I’d like to try a build with slightly increased acceleration, or decreased inertia, or whatever it is that makes the direction change slow. It shouldn’t be changed so much that the animations look weird though, last thing I want is people dancing on the spot to make their head flip out.
Other change would be to have only Soldier Machine Gun, shotguns and sniper rifles cause slowdown on hit.
Basically I think if players could be more evasive, they might feel better with the fast RoF as they’d survive longer. Or maybe not, but we could see.
I would like to see that tested first as well as that’s less drastic than firerate.
I thought initially I may have been overly critical of the combat…
But its interesting to see people draw similar conclusions.
For me its not so much about the length of a fight.
Triple hs is super quick in promod. No complaints there.
I dont feel kills feel super rewarding atm.
Ofcourse this can all change in the next patch.
We kind of understood the majority of feeling was like this from all your feedback posts, but thanks for the poll!
Before we try any other changes we want to give you guys the build with the improved blend speeds and bullet slow removed, to find out how you think that feels. Depending on those results we’ll decide the next thing to address and test.

Can’t wait, thanks.
I think the introduction of scopes and sights will be a huge game changer. When will we get them? Especially because DB seems to be a medium range shooter sights seem to be obligatory. Ironsights obstruct too much on medium range. Feel free to call me a COD noob(even though I never played such games). Brink is definitely a short range shooter and I haven’t used sights or scopes there since ages, but in DB I really feel a need for them.
Oh I just like to say that I completely love the way the rifle the pistol and the knife (but could be more responsive) currently work in conjunction. I never used my pistol in ETQW and only in bare emergencies in W:ET. But currently I just never hesitate to draw it out.
I still suck at this game but I had one round where I was shooting, pistoling and slashing my way through everyone without missing a beat. That was fantastic.
So maybe it could be that I’m just whining about nothing and prefer the current set after all. I would hate to see the way those three ways of combat work now be broken.
Definitely agree about the pistol, you can still contribute with it well even if you’ve run out of main gun ammo completely. I def whip it out if i’ve used up my clip but the guy is still standing.
For me the time you have to wait between pistol shots is just long enough to get on my nerves, wish i could fire that second bullet sooner.
It may be slightly bugged though because sometimes I can get off a couple of shots in quick succession, but for the most part it feels like a good second or two between shots.
It’s not just if you run out of a clip, I like to whip it out whenever I get up close and personal (seriously anyone been noticing all the euphemisms appearing in my posts lately? :S) simply because that way I felt more in control than with a rifle.
Just to avoid a new thread- I also think the guns should gib bodies with waaaay less bullets. I only gib with knife, though sometimes I want to gib someone out of range, but can’t because it’s a waste of ammo.
