Be More Objective was easy! The hard one is 3 Star Tower Defense. Once you work out the proper place to put your turret and mines though it becomes much easier… And duct tape magazine is also a god-send
I had trouble with the objective 2 star until I switched to light body type. A lot of that one depended on being able to move to the new objective location quickly. When I switched from Med to Light I got it in like 2 tries. The ability to fly over more obstacles was key. Also, to change routes of attack. As another said here, also putting down the other team before moving into an objective is key.
The thing is…
As you increase the number of players it keeps getting harder. You better do the challenges alone.
No, they’re definitely easier with competent human teammates…but you only get credit (get the unlocks) for completing them solo.
Took me 3 times to do it but I did it. You have to be fast before the AI group together before it becomes more than a task.
I made a topic about the AI.

It’s atrocious. I barely finished the second objectives challenge. I have 29 seconds left on the clock when I completed it. How did I do it? Luck and a bit of strategy. I just kept changing the direction in which I went up to the top to upload the data. Taking odd paths, so the AI would get jumbled up. The last time, everyone was fighting down on the bottom, except one guy camping where I needed to go. I killed him, uploaded, and won.
Not letting them get set up is key, once they establish position it is tough to break through. You have to put them down then make a move and try to do it where they are all down close together in time so they don’t just keep spawning back in a constant stream. It is challenging but not overwhelming. Hence the name of the mode.
I beat it after 1 or 2 tries. Personally the arming the charge at the beginning was the hardest part. After that it all just fell into place.
If I remember right, I just rushed in there while all my AI teammates were up and killed all of the enemy AI that were there. Then planted the charge and the rest was a breeze. Took about 4 minutes, was definitely a challenge though.
I found the Tower Defense to be pretty easy. The only one I had real trouble with (read: put me into a firey rage) was 3 Star Escort. That was freaking brutal.
Also, 2 and 3 star Objective with 2 people was kind of a pain in the ass too, since there was no bot support… not that they do much anyway but at least they’re fodder.
I remember the good ol days, when there was no internet, where if some parts on a videogame were hard to get through u just kept trying 'till you figured out a way to beat it. Sometimes it would take hours, sometimes even more.
Now, if someone cant complete a mission in 15 minutes he automatically heads to the developers forum and ask them to make it easier
Go fast.
Seriously, that’s the only way I’ve found to do it. You can’t wait for the enemy to reach the objectives. You sprint there to beat them each time.
I did it using a light body type.
Start a new character, all weapon unlocks are transferred to all characters you have, not just individual ones, so a brand new lv 0 has the exact same unlocks as your lv 20, also, enemy AI seems to be slightly less accurate and intelligent when you just start, so you wont be slaughtered if you poke your head out from 50 meters.
breeze through objective 1
start objective 2 and sprint/plant the bomb, then play grenade toss spray gun at anything close to the charge. Ignore anyone who isnt shooting you, focus entirely on the engineer if you see him. This is about the ONLY objective your AI will be of use, they will just be bullet sponges so you dont get shot so much.
When you need to repair cook a frag about halfway up the second flight of stairs and throw it everytime to the other side of the generator so you can knockdown/kill a few bots, then scramble to repair everytime since the percent never drops, dont wait for backup to give you cover, it never will. hopefully you can finish with over 6 minutes remaining.
For the operative, hide by your command post and watch the radar for most of your team to engage the enemy, step around the corner and quickly pop a few bots, if all goes well, your 3 AI bots should kill 1 enemy before they are slaughtered leaving little to no resistance then quickly plant the box and sprint away around the corner to the command post, you must wait for the objective to rise a bit otherwise youl put your pda away, you can take a bit of fire while doing this but any more than a couple seconds in the open and youl get mowed down by uber bots. Hacking this objective goes fairly quickly and the enemy engineer usually doesnt have time to undo your hack while your hacking.
Change to medic class for the health buff and sprint to the top floor and drop in the box, you shouldnt have any trouble grabbing the intel if your quick enough, then sprint back to your spawn and climb the stairs. This part can also be very hard as your AI absolutely refuses to climb the stairs with you, instead they will roam the bottom floor looking for kills, go to the top floor and cook a grenade to kill the enemy campers at the objective, ive only seen 2-3 enemies at there at any given time, hopefully you can kill them and deliver the intel.
With a medium character with only the combat intuition perk I managed to do the 2 star one in 5:06 min and the 3 star one in 5:56 min.
(Granted I completed the campaign modes first.)
Go fast, use shortcuts using smart and if they’re camping lob a grenade at them and shoot them down quickly. That’s what I did.
The actual hard part was even starting it in the first place as it became a 6v1 situation. I accomplished it via luck, I didn’t feel like I really learned anything
I just defeated the 2-star “objective” challenge last night. I at first was also thinking it was just too hard with the AI as-is. The way I defeated it though has me believing I could repeat it over and over again (not %100 mind you but with a modicum of success).
I prefer the Heavy body type but my success was increased exponentially by changing to medium to complete the challenge.
Weapons I used were assault rifle and sub-machine gun dujor.
Part 1, Soldier class:
Sprint to the objective. Toss a 'nade around the corner then plant the explosive. I had flashbangs so that makes tossing the nade more effective. If you die, run out along the wall and use the crates for cover as you cover the bomb. You don’t need to advance at that point, you just need a lane for picking off engineers
Part 2, Engineer class:
The first of the two harder parts. Because you are medium body type you can exit spawn and climb the stacks of boxes to get on the stairwell without having to use the ramp. that’s a big deal. You advance upon your objective slowly, killing enemy bots along the way. You should buff each friendly AI’s gun as able. By exhibiting patience and making my way to the objective slowly while killing AI and keeping my team buffed I was able to perform my objective without being interrupted once.
Part 3, Operative class:
I find this one to be the hardest. The process is the same as above however it requires even more patience. The biggest issue is that your team splits up constantly (well that and the enemy’s spawn being right there). I went with the outside path as it gave me reliable cover to duck behind and reduces the amount of firing lanes the bots have. Once we had the enemy AI pushed back to (basically) their spawn I planted the module and danced back and forth while hacking. Friendly AI did enough to hold them off.
Part 4, Intel run:
Again the medium body type shines as I can climb the boxes to reach the stairwell, denying the limitless lines of fire the enemy has when you attempt to run up the ramp. I climbed up, dispatched the enemy bot that wasn’t busy killing friendly AI and uploaded the intel easily as it goes quite fast.
I hope this helps someone.
