NEWS: HI! And thank you for taking the read this post for Operation Spooky! This is a Halloween map designed for intense spooky combat. I wish that I had more time to work on this map, but the day is close at hand. Most of the models are of my making, except for the oak trees. There was not enough time to get my tree done. Perhaps in the next release.

Storyline: It’s in the stormy dark hours of the night and evil is afoot. Both sides find themselves locked in mortal combat for the three rings of power. Three are for the good of all mankind and the other three are for its doom. The axis seek the three rings of doom to plunge the world into the abyss of evil. They already have stolen the three rings of good. Only the Allies stand in the way of the evil Axis thirst for evil. Will evil prevail?

Type of map: ENEMY TERRITORY–> Multiplayer three objective map(Both sides) - Medium size

Whoever gets all three ring objectives first - wins. This is the objective of both sides

Objectives:

  1. Secure your Stronghold

  2. Construct your invasion bridge

  3. Steel the three rings!

  4. Secure your three rings first!

I noticed that my map may be having a texture issue with the orb over the ring of power station. If anybody else is seeing this problem, please let me know. I think the q3 engine might not like flexing orbs too much.lol

Also, the water doesn’t fit into the map design. Besides the water flow moves too fast.
Maybe some toxic swap?

The door that you have for an cov op with uni to go through. And the wall isnt alinged with the wall right. (both sides)
Whats the purpose of the cov op door. (team door)
Maybe moved it to the side wall of the castle?
The map is abit small. It feels like im testing out a new DeGeneration Map. (its for RTCW)
Just only tooked a quick run though it. Not bad at all. But, it could used more improvements. It just seems hard for either team to get all three rings. The round/match would last for hours.

Maybe just have one ring and set a capture time. Of like 2 minutes or less.

Yeah, the water needs to go. I’m working on that as I write this. Please keep in mind that I did this map in its present beta form in just 10 days, just for halloween. A much more refined and bigger map for ET is in the works. This map is but a small snippet of a much larger one. Same mood and atmosphere. I cant seem to find the wall issue you are talking about. There are hidden back doors already in the map, otherwise, oh god yes! It would take hours to finish off this map!
Also, please keep in mind that this is a Deathmatch style map. Purely for fun with a twist to boot! Hence the size. Not too small and not too big to be pointless. At least I hope not! LOL

Sorry, I’m keeping the three rings. One objective per side doesn’t keep the map going. At least when I was running it with others testing it with me. One objective was too easy.

So, in final words, beta 2 will be creeping in very shortly. It has to! Halloween is just around the corner!
