Yes you read it right, OPC1 (Q3 strafe training map) has been released for Enemy Territory thanks to b5k. The settings are built into the pk3 to allow consecutive strafing (just remember to set / pmove_fixed 1). I’ve been able to do the map half beat, single and 2 beat strafing Should lead the way for other similar maps.

I’m having some serious issues with this map: on etpro it won’t load, I get all kinds of error messages
With etmain it loads OK but it always hangs when I try to enter limbo, and it won’t load with devmap. 
I play it with ETpro fine. It wont load i with devmap but loads fine with normal /map et_opc1. Maybe bandit5k can shed some light on the issues.
devmap crashes for me unless sv_pure 0 and g_gametype 2 are set before devmap.
I didn’t realise pmove_fixed ‘helped’ so much 
I give up! I’ve reached the last platform 20 times or so, but can’t make the last jump. What’s the trick?

with etpro crashes at loading the pk3, in etmain or any other mod it crashes when emtering limbo… also noticed it doesnt even ahve an arena file so it wont show up in server list… any chance of getting it sorted ?
Are you sure that’s not the “too many pk3 files” bug Fusen? I have no problem with ETPro myself.
I also played it online (on Smokey’s Grotto) and finally reached the other side, only to realise I wasn’t recording a demo.

oops ignore that I checked it before when I loaded up et ice and it was working fine… it was map specific

hmm got onto the map by deleting my version of the pk3 and gettin the version of smokeys gortto auto download…
The objective is to reach the end by strafejumping from pad to pad.
I think this map is pretty fun to play, can spend a long time on it.
Sometimes I jump too far and land in the water infront of one of the pads.
Just a note. The strafes were designed to be done without using sprint or adrenaline at all.
