Online Play Options Tutorial & Dev Questions

SD do you think you guys could add in a video somewhere for all the people that seem to be confused by how all your modes work? I think maybe it would cut down on complaints.

Also if you guys never make a lobby could you maybe tweak freeplay private matches to kind of work like lobbies? So you can invite your whole party (using xbox as example) But another team could do the same and get matched up with you? It would basically be a lobby.

But there’s gotta be some way at least to have a one sided lobby.

What my crew has been doing has been Freeplay>Private Match> Get 8 players on one side > Start inviting randoms that we played with recently (Or if we have enough friends on. Our friends)

A Private match option where you invite your friends in but then you make it open to join would be a welcome tweak until you get lobbies. Or can this already be done?

I’d also like to see a separate playlist just for Stopwatch, or at least make it default in 5v5 Competition. I’ve never found a full match in it, presumably because it’s not the default gametype & a lot of people don’t even realise it’s there. A much more interesting mode than vanilla Objective though in my opinion.

Well people complain about not having full matches. But if people didn’t drop out of a match whenever they get killed more then once then matches would stay full. I’ve played by myself against three other humans and had them get frustrated and leave because they couldn’t beat me and three other bots. I wish we could just get these matches filled and people would stay in. There’s no incentive like in reach or other games to make someone stick around and finish a match.

Maybe after you join a game, it should lock you in it. There is no way to quit, and the game takes control of your xbox and TV, so you can’t turn either one off.

I know that there are a series of Get Smart videos in the dosier in the menu of Brink?

And it sends false records of you being a really bad person to your job if you just idle there.
