Online Multiplayer Clarification?

(Dismojoe) #1

I have been looking around the forums, and I am still confused on the individual aspects of online multiplayer.

  1. Is the online multiplayer only cooperative where you join the story with your friends and you complete it (aka Borderlands)?

  2. Or can players join the matches on either side of the team, and then complete the storyline based on who wins the level err whatever (aka Borderlands + Halo/Shadowrun)?

  3. Or are there actual deathmatch/objective game modes where players are put into a lobby and the two opposing teams play matches against each other (aka Halo/Shadowrun)?

I’m not too interested in games where there isn’t deathmatch/objective game modes considering I thought Borderlands was disappointing. So if the game is just 1 or 2, then I’m not too interested. But if it includes option 3, then I will definitely be interested.

Thanks, and you can start yelling at me for being bad at the search function.

You can play by yourself or cooperative with 7 other friends. You will also have player vs player mode where you choose your side and two team compete against one another.

The entire versus mode is still not completely clear though. At least the matchup system isn’t. But yes don’t worry there will be a versus multiplayer.

It’s basically a bit of all 3.

That’s good…

One more question…does crouching provide the exact same amount of reduced spread as looking down ironsights or less? I was so excited for this game…and then I saw ironsights and I wanted to hurt myself.

no doubt a combination of both leads to even less spread.

So it does have team deathmatch mode or is it a mix between them?

No, its pure objective mode.
