Just a 22% accuracy passing by, don’t mind me.
28% average so I don’t make it either
We should start our own under 30% accuracy clan

To keep on with the derailemnt, I started DB on a Laptop: 22% accuracy the first weeks. It went up to 25 and then 28.
I grabbed a real computer, went up to 33. I now stand around 38, 39 depending on guns.
So yeah, accuracy bellow 30 exists and is not a desperate case.

And accuracy is not the only factor of a good player, while it might be an important one, there are as well the factors like how accustomed the player is to the game’s mechanics, his knowledge of the maps and how efficiently he can use the mercs’ abilities.
That is probably why I can still get some decent matches with Kira even if only every fifth bullet hits, because a well-timed laser at the just right spot can have some… exciting results.
One thing I can’t understand with new players is their stupidity at the game in general.
I swear, sometimes, I wonder why they got lvl 5-9, while they can’t throw ammo, give health, revive, bomb the EV, or even WALLjump. They may say that their bad aim is the reason, but I’d say ĐÉO (Vietnamese for F*CK NO). I’m just lvl 8, have worse-than-terrible aim, but I can revive, give ammo, have all of the knowledge of the basics of DB (except aimming). So why can’t they do the same? It’s not THAT hard, just press Q or E and done, but they just lack the abillity to understand that.
P.S: That, and COD-kids, Minecraft Lover (no offense, and yes, I have seen both)
the stupidity comes from the fact that every pootube gaming video they watch is a frag video, no support videos ever make it on their screen, so they must frag at all times, boom headshot is their goal
edit: even if there were support vids, they wouldn’t watch them, boom headshot is all they know
Yay, console mentality
Nothing you can do here but play with friends or competent people in pugs. In pubs everything is possible and we all just gotta deal with it , sadly
This is the thing I don’t understand. Why do some people have such a hard time accepting the less skilled players. We all had to start some where. You don’t acquire skill over night. The skill many veteran players have was from games that may not have an equivalent now in gaming. The gaming world has changed.
I know personal preference does play a part in it.
I prefer games with more experienced players myself, but i always try to be patient with the less experienced players. Simply because I guess I know that is how I were prefer to be treated kind of like I view how older siblings and parents should be. That’s ideally of course.
Granted I am a very patient person myself.
I do totally understand where a lot of people are coming from though.

Because there’s no way someone would find a game like Dirty Bomb without any knowledge of shooters, or even want to try one for that matter.
One has to assume people come in with the basic knowledge, the fact that they don’t is what blows my mind. Yes we all started somewhere, but we figured out pretty quick what a defib was, or how to throw ammo, it’s not science.

those people were like that

You’ve got a point there. Wolfenstein ET was one of the first MP experiences that I ever had. And yeah I had to learn it as well.
But back then things like youtube videos where you could see the game being played weren’t there.
I think nowadays most people discover a new game via reviews on youtube or let’s plays, etc. With most games that you have to pay for I would imagine that most people look up a review on youtube because they can hear the opinion of the reviewer but most importantly they can see the game being played.
And since you can see the gameplay, you often already have an idea of how the game should be played (that is if the reviewer knows what he is doing which is another story entirely tbh.).
But since Dirty Bomb is F2P, I think many people just download it (because of the positive steam rating) without doing any research. There’s no money on the line so why would you? And Dirty Bomb is not really that kind of game where you can just jump in and know exactly what you have to do (like for instance BF or COD which use more basic and more simple game modes).
You should stop looking at things from you perspective, not everyone finds the game and has basic knowledge of the mechanics. Everything is possible with all kinds of people , some don’t give a shit, some troll , some are mentally disabled , some are dumb kids, some have crappy laptops, desktops, keyboard or a mouse, shitty internet, some are just bad have no awareness , hell people are egoistic by nature and play the lone wolf, etc etc… It’s a FREE game so every one and literally everyone can play it.

If someone is over level 10 and he doesn’t know how to revive properly / give ammo, he is just a retard. There’s no nice way around it.
I think this a always a nice way but people chose not to take it.
Personally I think trying to go down the middle between naughty and nice is better because it’s more realistic, but again I realize I am a lot more patient and open minded than most people.
Reviving and fixing things is “the level 2”.
On understanding “level 1” I would have appreciated that people who come to play FPS as in First-Person-Shooter, try to actually shoot something and practice their aiming so they get better over time. Especially somebody playing like I don’t know, Skyhammer, who has basically unlimited ammo to himself.
Like understanding that if multiple people are shooting at the same time, it gives more chance someone hitting something and killing enemies more efficiently than camping which means usually one guy shooting and others hiding somewhere.
This faggoty csgo-bs hiding and stuff was way worse than I ever expected it to be in freaking shooting game.
I have absolutely no idea what kind of game these people were thinking of coming to play.
Rocket League that Valley thing?
I’m not going to even start about the low aggresion levels in attack or not understanding single thing about tactics (like you know, holding one angle yourself so your friends don’t get shot to the back) because these people are just brainless.
Some random opponents just running thru your team and killing your from the side, like wtf? they are right in front of you, shoooooottttt theeeemm!
At some point you understand why you can kill these noobs so easily and it’s not because you are so good but because they are so bad they aren’t even shooting back.
So in the end you are either playing in brainless team or against brainless team.
Oh, the fun!

i thought youre stopped playing DB
i thought youre stopped playing DB
I did ages ago. :’(
There’s one reason right there.
Other reasons have been well documented by numerous players that have quit the game or are giving up. I don’t want to put more salt to here tho.
Sometimes I wish I could come back to play this one since there aren’t basically games like this. But I simply couln’t and cannot take it anymore. They would have to turn it around in many corners if even in release of 2020 it would make my list in which I would spend my time to.
There was some kind of broken sequence in both in the development of the game and how the devs saw how new players would be drawn to the game and learn to play it while maintaining the veterans interested.
Unfortunately time precious on this earth and you have to choose where to use it.
