have you ever seen sparks revive with her hand before?
have you felt the rage inducing traumatic event you just watch?
Oh yes I have seen it… And yeah the rage was definitely present at that time.

Like people have already stated, a forced tutorial will never directly fix lack of awareness, slow reaction time, or the desires of the more self interested player. If those people do not want to do it they won’t, whether the tutorial is forced or not at least in my opinion.
i just finished a game in chapel 6v6 with kira gen 1 that has mechanic just to make sure that i can repair ev because i know i will fight with noobies.
result: i get 20K for nearly do all the killing, the fixing ev, the delivering objectives
hell, the enemy dont know that im an enemy, they just shoot at anything that shoot back
its like they never play games…
im kinda curious now, how many under 14 years old play this game…
That’s a very good question. I would love to see the statistics of how many of the new players actually did the tutorial.
Yes they did problem is there looking for those dummies to rivie and give ammo to. Lol
They need to make the tutorial in one of the maps using mercs not dummies also it needs to be something like bridge where theres an ev to repair/destroy and drugs to deliver. And a tutorial for each map wouldnt hurt as long as there tldr versions dont wanna bore them out of the game
Think im gonna try(probly fail at it) and make a walk through vid for the maps though my editing skills are a 2 out of 100 and i dont know how to spawn a teamate in off line mode for med demmo or ammo demo
Maybe they should really make a tutorial level from bridge with none respawning, stationary mercs and an Aura and a Kira/Stoker following you. So you kill maybe 3 mercs, who guard the EV. After the fight, you get the hint on screen. “Need HP? Call a medic with v21” So you press V21 and the aura will drop the healing station. Then something like “You wasted a lot of ammo during this fight. Call a fire support for ammo with v22!” Kira/stoker drops ammo station. Than you can repair it without being attacked. While repairing you get the hint on screen: “engineers are more suited for repairing an EV /planting/defusing a bomb. If you get the message “A faster team mate is repairing” stop reparing and guard the engineer!”
On bridge you would learn that moving away from the EV makes the EV stop. you would learn to plant a bomb on generator (while planting you get the message “Explosive mercs can destroy a generator without C4 with their abilities”). Place a sniper in the window at the barricade so you learn that to walk in the open is not a good idea.
Of course this doesnt cover everything, but I think a new player would learn a lot and this doesnt seem to be a lot of effort.
Those are bots to increase the appearance of a playerbase.
On another note, I have two clan tags that I use, switching on and off. I use “uCry” for when I feel like stomping the shit out of other people utilizing some annoying techniques (Ex: Kiratana and laser only, Rhino and Aura, etc).
Then I have “iCry” which is for when I feel like raging and complaining, but don’t want to look like an asshole or a dick. It makes everything I say somewhat comical. Like I could be complaining about my teammates while playing on Bridge (this is by far the worst map and also the most annoying to play on without skilled players- even “experienced” players can be complete shit and clueless on this map)… Anyways, if I say something like, “My teammates are useless, does no one know how to repair a generator?” or “If these people stood on my healing station, I could actually get my badge and maybe we could win the game…” After which I will simply say “i cry” which is essentially mocking my own clan tag.
Pure fun.

i remember there are elitist clan in Asia bragging about if you wanna get into clan they have to get 30% accuracy on all guns and minimum level 20
some kids in the match goes like “wow, exclusive clan”
i just press ` then setclantag the clan name, then i tell them its just name cosmetic, not something that makes you invincible in a match
If there was a prize for finishing the tutorial, it would help at least a little. I think there should be tier rewards for the assault course.
It’s not much more than a quick primer or basic training, but it gives decent knowledge of skyhammer, long jumping and basic game mechanics, once you can get Cobalt.
Also, I can’t remember if there’s an intro video when you first start the game, but it could be a good idea, stressing things like teamwork, objectives, pace and hipfire over ironsighting etc.
Relative to forcing the tutorial and whether or not it’s any help at all… I force all of my friends to go play it before asking me questions…
It usually answers some things, but it also completely skips over some of the more important information, such as directly damaging secondary generators, holding the revive charge for longer for more hp, and information on how to be more aware of your team’s location, such as pressing and holding down ‘z’.
Don’t even get me started on the fact that it doesn’t tell people their airstrike flies perpendicular. Telling Skyhammer to throw his airstrike and watch it isn’t the same as telling noobs how to use their EV ability.

i wouldnt worry about it.
some people tend to have a ammo-sparing style, some people spray, some people prefire everycorner, some people just fire guns for the fun of it.
I belong in the last 3 categories

Yeah, I’m quite like the last 3 too, but I as well have the problem of hitting a target in front of me that is experienced enough to know how to move left, right and jump, while hip firing.
I’m not really bothered by my accuracy (most of the time), because when I feel like being a bit competitive, I usually choose a medic that doesn’t need too much accuracy to heal and revive. I might end up with the worst k/d of the game, but I would nonetheless be on top of my team score-wise.
Meanwhile I have 47% with Grandeur…I am way too try hard with that gun.
I think that’s the nature of the gun though. Since you have to pace your shots for the heavy recoil, you end up really lining up the shots carefully.
I agree, very annoying. I think part of the problem is people coming from non-role shooters, like CoD and Counterstrike. They aren’t accustomed to having secondary tasks beyond shooting, and they have no idea how critical those roles are.
Plus, the nature of the grind combined with the very limited selection of what you can get for your credits, adds up to a disincentive for some people I think. Compare the ammo and medic support in this game to PS2, and it’s like night and day. Dropping ammo and reviving over their is like a religion because the xp can add up pretty fast. I built my character up to level 92 mostly playing medic and engy.
I also agree with those who suggested an award system like in BF. I absolutely love BF’s award system. It’s so much fun and it gets people to play roles they otherwise might not play.
