Well, I’ve had that suggestion from a friend, I’ll have a think about it, I’ve no idea how do it at the moment though. Maybe when I get further into mapping. It holds an objective that creates a major shortcut for the allies, so the axis would prefer it to stay in the air where it’s easier to defend. However, if the allies manage to deflate it the objective could come down with it so it would be easier to get at. But then again, what would be the point of the allies climbing the rope to plant dynamite when they might aswell take the objective while they are up there? I suppose the axis engineer would have to point and wiggle his pliers at a load of canvas rather than helium canisters, especially because the helium wouldn’t do a hot air balloon much good
Also, the balloon is going to be kind of a handy thing when it’s in the air for the allies later in the map. Anyway… I’m still thinking of why I could design it like that. I think it would be good to have it in the map, but i’m unsure as to how it would be of any use to either side at the moment. Hmmm, maybe the axis could deflate it and when it’s down, the allies can’t get to the objective, hmmm, very interesting… more thinking do to I think, as I have no idea why the allies wouldn’t be able to get the objective when the balloon is on the ground, and I can’t really have the objective floating in the air. (There’s also nothing around there to keep anything up… yet… maybe)
Anyway, thank you for refreshing that line of thought, I may have to do that now
hehe thanks.
