Okay I give up... someone tell me what I'm doing wrong

I thought I could just write a server config but nothing is working. I’ve read several guides and have tried to apply these configs with exec Custom. I give up nothing seems to work so I might as well post on the forums.

Maybe these values are at odds

si_maxPlayersHuman 25
si_maxplayers 30

However
Max players = 16

and then trying to run standard instead of custom
applyServerConfig standard

Why don’t you run a recommended config to kick things off and make sure everything is working
Then change one thing at a time if you aren’t sure what you’re doing

You need double quotes around any string cvars, such as these:

si_name “Espryon’s Server”

g_mapRotationVote “mp/aquarium, mp/ccity, mp/reactor, mp/refuel, mp/resort, mp/sectow, mp/shipyard, mp/terminal”
