is this a newer versioN? i think iver palyed it before and didnt liek it b/c it was completely impossible for allies to get teh tank up to the front.
Have you sped up the train at all? It would be nice if you could redo that model and increase the speed. One of the few problems I had with the version I played. A couple of other points were that too little of the city was accessible (meaning doors to different buildings and such) and in one building, they had a bunch of current day desktop computers. Hmmmmm…just seems a little out of place, other than that the version I played was good. Oh and what’s the deal with lights on during a bright, sunny day? Anyway, I’ll test out the new version soon and give you some more feedback.
@ commando: yes this is a newer version (final actually), and you will find the first stage completely turned around: it’s now impossible not to get the tank up front 
it’s only a short intro to the map now.
@ ty: havn’t changed the train speed since the beta 1, making it faster would make it too easy - axis spawn at least once if the train gets past the square
i know those pcs are modern, they would really have had the whole room filled w/ one computer

i really hope this isnt a final version of the map?
the map is big and i love how you can get into most buildings and up onto rooftops but so much of the map is wasted!
there should be other objectives available to get other areas of the map used up! and the train is useless if you can go ahead and plant dynamite on the door!
make a few changes and this will be truly a great map!!
The map was missing textures as well. canvas, canvasmov, blacky2 and axisflag were the names I think. I went and grabbed the canvas textures from pak0.pk3 and renamed it to canvas/canvasmov and it seems to be working good…grabbed a pic of the axis flag from darji2 (i think) and renamed it to axisflag to be used…also found a texture for the front part of the train’s engine (blacky2) and used it. Everything seems to be looking alright now with no missing textures.
One thing I noticed though…the new MG up near the toilet with the turd in it has no entry point. There’s a door, but it can’t be opened.
you’re thinking +20 players there, northerner, why do you think the map is big?
having two ways to complete an objective might seem weird at first, but they balance each other out
while beeing too difficult too complete on their own, together they become a solvable task…
escorting the train to the gate is a team objective and especially for medics
an engi can blow the gate on his own
and a covert can bypass the gate via teamdoor/roofs
and the train also gives cover once it’s pass the arch. and near the end u can jump of the top of the train into a window, taking you to the roofs
zozz, those missing textures? do you still have the beta in your etmain?
i guess i must have forgotten to rename some of the shaders … : / just delete the beta
