I was doing little tweeks to my new map “paintball” and I lost it… I just finished doing detail brushes/clip brushes and I hit save… I hit compile, and as soon as I hit it, power lost. It totally deleted the .map since it just started the compile phase.

look for a file called <yourmapname>.bak - there’s a good chance radiant has made backups for you. If not, then shame on you for turning off the backup option…

Ok, will do. And I would never turn off such a good option!

I use autosave about every 5 minutes… has saved my arse a few times that I can remember
